Elegant Eating did a marvelous job catering my rehearsal dinner! We wanted to host it at home and they made it so easy. Their team brought the food in, set it up, served, and cleaned up seamlessly so that we could relax and enjoy it. All of the food and drinks were excellent and the entire experience was exactly what we were looking for.

My Sweet, Sweet Myra,
I cannot put into words the rave reviews I received from people all night about your food and crew.
Once again another perfect event. I was excited to see Yonah again and Barbara was so fabulous.
The site for next year is already picked; it will be back at the private residence that Yonah loved.
I will send you all the pics as soon as I get them, also the photographer said she has done so many weddings and has never had food like yours.
Thank you again. It was so fabulous. As soon as we confirm the date I will tell you so we can guarantee we have you.

How can I ever thank you and your amazing team for the most special night celebrating Brittany’s 30th birthday. From the minute I called you several weeks ago you made everything easy. Your entire team did. The whole night far exceeded anything we dreamt of. It was beyond perfect. Diane and Bobby were great ! Like part of that family. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a great party welcoming our new Hungarian family yesterday. The food was delicious!!!
Great menu Myra! All our guests and my immediate family raved upon the presentation and the flavorful assortment!
And the desserts were so divine!
Ed and I also need to rave about Barbara- so professional, pleasant to work with and moves everything along perfectly!
Clean up was a dream.
Tent set up with Roman worked well too. The young men were very polite, accommodating.

Hi Myra,
I meant to email you earlier, but I wanted you to know that your team was great as always. They worked SO HARD because many more people showed up than had rsvp'd. We had to scramble to find extra tables and chairs, and they served more people and cleaned up after more people . It was probably the best String Theory party ever, but your team probably worked harder than ever to make it all great.
Thank you for organizing everything as always!
Also, I thought that ravioli appetizer was amazing - it looked beautiful and was so delicious.
And the sushi chefs worked endlessly and actually ran out of everything. That is not a criticism - they made a mountain of sushi for two hours and the guests just wouldn't stop lining up for it. They worked really hard and it was delicious.

John and I cannot even begin to find enough words to thank you both!! All night , elegant eating was the talk amongst our guests!! First, the food!! Omg the food!!!! It was outstanding!!! It was Wow worthy!! It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Every single dish!!! You exceeded our expectations and we are beyond grateful!
Second, Your Staff!!!! Yet another thing that all of our guests raved about!!! What impeccable service!!! Blow your mind service!!!! Each and every one of your staff was exceedingly professional, friendly, and attentive!!! We can’t say enough about them!! They worked through the heat of the day as if it wasn’t 90 plus degrees! They made everything seem effortless when we know it was a challenge with the heat! Every time John or I needed something, it was as if they read our minds and there they were! All staff was just amazing ! Big shout out to Linda and Diane! Amazing!! And Luis, who we asked to stay behind and he catered to the very last of our guests as we wound down. He was above and beyond!!

Hello Neil,
Just getting around to my acknowledgments for last Saturday’s bridal shower for my daughter at Roseneath Cottage. I wanted to let you and Myra know I was very pleased with the catering from Elegant Eating. Although I was unable to partake of the food due to having had food poisoning (from eating raw sushi earlier that week, it seems everyone else enjoyed it, especially the Grazing Brunch display, which was a big hit.
I was also very happy with Immaculate Reception and Vita, the wait staff she sent to serve that day. I’m so glad Myra suggested her because having her there made everything go smoothly. I was able to relax and enjoy the day.

Thank you again! I have attached a photo of my Dad with Melissa, Luis and Xavier following our party.
The food was amazing and your staff are top notch. My dad had a wonderful time. Melissa, Luis and Xavier were a pleasure to have and made the day so enjoyable for all of us. Melissa was efficient and made sure everything was on schedule but not rushed and what a relief to see an immaculate kitchen after having a party. We had a few hiccups with the thunderstorms and the rain but that’s when Luis took hold of the only broom we had and swept the excess rain that accumulated on the patio and pushed it away from the tables to avoid a flood. He also multi-tasked by taking some pictures of our event which was quite nice and unexpected but very much appreciated. I truly appreciated your guidance during the planning process and will not hesitate to call on you for our next event.

I wanted to thank everyone at Elegant Eating for making our second party with you such a success. Everyone raved about the food and the service. Your staff went above and beyond making sure everyone had what they needed, especially my dad who was sitting all day in a chair up on the deck due to mobility issues. It was a pleasure working with you and your staff from the start to finish as well as with Roman from Empire Tents. We will recommend you highly to anyone who asks, and if we were staying on Long Island (we are not) we for sure would have used you at some point again in the future.

The Citera Christmas Cocktail Party was a huge success. Not only was the food delicious, the variety and presentation were first class. Throughout the evening, our guests were continually “wowed”. As spectacular as the food was, we could not have enjoyed ourselves during the party if it was not for the impeccable service provided by Luis, Marisol, and Xavier. Luis even enthusiastically took group photos of our family; he was delightful.

Traditionally, we would have gone to a restaurant after my husband's unveiling. But with COVID, we just could not take the risk, so we decided to have the luncheon at our home and it could have been a completely overwhelming undertaking given the stress of the day. How clever of us to find just the right person to produce a wonderful celebration of my husband's life! Myra listened to what we wanted and made such wonderful suggestions. And then between Myra and Neil, with their excellent communication skills, every question was answered and every detail was addressed. The food was excellent and everything looked as good as it tasted. We cannot thank them enough for their outstanding effort. They helped make a difficult day much happier for us.
